The Brisbane Arcade is located at 160 Queen St,Brisbane City QLD 4000. Having just celebrated 100 years with a special public celebration held on the 19th of April 2024, this is definitely one area of Brisbane worth a special mention 😀 It was fantastic to see the Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner along with other dignitries & the general public sharing some special birthday cake 🎂 🍰& other live entertainment on the day 😀 What a wonderful nostalgic part of the Brisbane CBD to visit this multi-level shopping precinct & look at purchasing a piece of jewellery or buying a dress for a wedding or something to buy for other special occasions. The Brisbane Arcade has the historic ROOM with ROSES 🌹 located on the Gallery Level, which specialises in high tea & specialty menus. This place caters to corporate & at home functions, a bit of everything! My wife & I had the absolute pleasure of enjoying the Belgium Waffles, loaded with banana, strawberries & came with a base of dark chocolate 🍫 Another great addition was the ice cream on the side 😋 😀 Another place to enjoy the excellent quality of customer service is Keri Craig Emporium on the lower level of the Brisbane Arcade. What a stunning place to enjoy the world of fashion, a fantastic range of Homewares & the highly recommended Coffee Lounge, which is known for its freshly made Prawn & Crab sandwiches. Keri Craig Emporium also caters to their high tea, which I recommend you book in advance. After visiting this heritage listed, Brisbane Arcade, I would definitely recommend anyone visiting Brisbane take the time to share the experience of a piece of nostalgic history of the Brisbane City landscape.

Beautiful shopping mall with great architecture. Beautiful decor during the Christmas period. Brisbane Arcade is Brisbane’s oldest shopping arcade. Believed to have been under construction in 1923 with the first store openings in 1924, the arcade’s history spans a century.

Unlike most arcades filled with modern franchises, Brisbane Arcade feels like stepping into another era. Housed in a beautifully preserved heritage building, it’s lined with classic boutiques that match its timeless charm. Even a short stroll through here feels like a brief journey back 100 years.

So lovely to see an unique arcade with very individual shops, not the ones you see everywhere - these shops are beautifully window dressed and very unique in what they offer. Great for finding that special present for someone. And I really felt like I was in Europe somewhere with the Christmas vibe oozing out everywhere. So lovely. !!

It’s one of the most classic and impressive hidden gem I’ve ever discovered in Brisbane CBD. Despite most of the shops being jewellers, boutiques, and some clothing stores in the gallery shopping, the elaborate and classic interior design amazes me a lot. In addition, there are some soft benches where you can sit and rest. There are also a cafe (Room with Roses) on the balcony level, Espresso Bar on the ground floor, and Keri Craig Emporium Coffee Lounge with various boutiques in the basement. To top it off, this place is extraordinary, extravagant, and an absolute banger.

I love how they brought up the christmas lights all over the building. The decorations, you could really feel the vibe of christmas. Although it is just a short walk around the building, the festivity feel is amazing.

We have walked through Brisbane Arcade on many occasions & most recently on Saturday 13/12/25 & walking around on all floor levels it was nice to see the beautiful Christmas decorations on display & lots of foot traffic passing through. Some interesting shops & some very expensive, all depends what your looking for. Defiantly worth visiting the Arcade.
